I wish to warmly welcome you to the Website of the Ghana High Commission, Canberra, in my capacity as the newly appointed High Commissioner of Ghana to Australia.

The Website is conceived as a source of multifarious information on the history, culture, geography, politics and economy of the Republic of Ghana.  It is intended to serve the interests of academics, businessmen, industrialists and investors as well as the ordinarily curious.  It also provides consular information for Ghanaian nationals as well as people wishing to visit Ghana.

The fundamental objective of the Ghana High Commission in providing this information is to make the visitor to the Website aware of the attractive possibilities that exist in Ghana for doing profitable business or for invigorating leisure through tourism.

In this regard, the Ghana High Commission stands ready to provide supplementary information to all who may require it, particularly to investors and businessmen desirous of establishing ventures in Ghana.
