Our History
The Association was founded in March 2000 and was incorporated in September 2000.
The Objectives of the Association are to:
. Foster the welfare of Ghanaians and their families;
. Assist in the settlement and welfare of new Ghanaian migrants and encourage their integration into the broader community;
. Generate and stimulate friendship within the Ghanaian community;
. Educate and promote an understanding of the culture and people of Ghana in the Australian community; and
. Foster links with Ghana and provide assistance and support for suitable projects
Membership of the Association is open to individuals or families of Ghanaian descent and persons interested in Ghanaian affairs who accept the aims and objectives of the Association.

| The Association organises various activities in line with its objectives. One of the major functions, the Annual Dinner dance takes place in October / November of each year.
