I bid you welcome to the Ghana High Commission Website which follows the re-establishment of Ghana's presence in the Commonwealth of Australia, after closing our Mission in 1985.

Ghana was the first African country to establish a diplomatic presence in Australia soon after independence in 1957.

Our return and the re-opening also of the Australian High Commission in Ghana should see the strengthening of relations for two Commonwealth countries that have strong roots in Democracy, Good Governance and a vibrant media.
